Talmi Entertainment Nutcracker! – Pittsfield, MA (OPEN TO REMOTE)

Talmi Entertainment seeks an individual ready to contribute to ticket sales, patron relations, and box office management in 25+ markets across North America. As a national entertainment brand, Talmi Entertainment is responsible for promoting and executing over 100 Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet performances across North America every holiday season.

This position offers the candidate a seat at the table with a leading arts organization and one of the largest ballet tours in North America. The office is dynamic and constantly evolving depending on the period in our tour cycle. Job responsibilities will shift according to the tour planning, promotion, and performance schedule.

At its core, this role is both operational and customer-facing. Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet is an experience deeply tied to family traditions, nostalgia, and holiday memories for many patrons. The Ticketing and Group Sales Manager plays an important front-line role in helping audiences, dance school partners, and venue staff feel supported, welcomed, and valued throughout the season.

Position Expectations

With proper training and support from current staff, the Ticketing and Group Sales Manager will:

• Set up and manage 25+ box offices at theaters across North America, from initial ticketing and pricing builds to group sales and inventory management.
• Manage and track all aspects of ticket inventory in each city. Work closely with venue box office teams to hold, release, sell, refund, and assign publicly available inventory. Coordinate with third-party vendors and affiliated sales outlets as needed.
• Provide high-level customer service and thoughtful support to patrons, prospective patrons, partner dance schools, and venue staff. This includes responding to questions, resolving ticketing issues, assisting group organizers, and helping ensure a positive experience for audiences attending the production.
• Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact during the busy holiday touring season. The position requires patience, empathy, organization, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
• Develop goals for local commercial partnerships in assigned cities, research local communities, identify prospective partners, pitch partnership opportunities, and help close promotional sales relationships.
• Ask questions when unclear, remain open to learning, and adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment.
• During Q3 and into Q4, there will be an opportunity to earn commissions on new group sales of 10+ tickets purchased.

Talmi Entertainment prefers a candidate who can work in-office from Pittsfield, MA on a Monday–Friday schedule. The office is located approximately 2.5 hours from both New York City and Boston. However, remote work may be considered for the right candidate, particularly one who demonstrates strong communication skills, reliability, organization, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

During the tour in November and December, the Ticketing and Group Sales Manager is expected to be highly available to answer calls and assist both group patrons and individual ticket buyers during peak performance periods.

• $28.85/hour

Requirements

• 4-year college degree in a related field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain flexible in a fast-moving, evolving environment
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of self-direction
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus daily
• Demonstrated literacy with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products
• Accuracy in pricing documents, ticketing systems, and record keeping is essential
