APAP believes that pay transparency is a critical step toward pay equity and benefits both the job seeker and the employer. For those reasons, we are now requiring that employers include a salary range in all new job postings.
Postings that are backfilled from another association’s career center may not include salary information.

The Williams School
Application
Details
Posted: 12-May-26
Location: Norfolk, Virginia
Type: Full Time
Introduction
At The Williams Preschool, we believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, creativity, connection, and meaningful discovery. Our year-round preschool program for children ages 3–4 is intentionally designed to honor the magic of early childhood while preparing children to think deeply, solve problems, collaborate, and grow with confidence.
This is not a traditional preschool classroom.
Here, children paint, build, question, perform, investigate, create, and imagine. Teachers are trusted as professionals and empowered to design engaging learning experiences inspired by children’s interests and the world around them. Through art, music, storytelling, movement, project-based learning, and purposeful play, our students experience the joy of learning every day.
We are seeking an exceptional Preschool Teacher who is warm, imaginative, nurturing, and inspired by the possibilities of early childhood education.
If you are looking for a school where your creativity is celebrated, your ideas matter, and your work feels meaningful, we would love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

Meet children’s daily needs with attentiveness, care, and compassion
Observe and document student growth and communicate meaningfully with families
Build strong, respectful partnerships with parents and caregivers
Collaborate closely with fellow educators to reflect, innovate, and co-create curriculum
Maintain a beautiful, organized classroom environment that promotes independence and exploration
Support a healthy learning environment through consistent safety and sanitation practices
