Job Summary The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for managing the human and financial resources of the West Valley Symphony (WVS) to achieve the organization’s mission. The ED is a visionary leader who, under the direction of the Board of Trustees (BOT) and in collaboration with the Music Director, will provide leadership, direction, and management to grow the WVS artistically and financially.  A primary duty of the ED is to meet revenue and expense goals as set forth in the annual budget. The WVS was founded in 1968 and will soon begin our 59th season.  Our musicians are paid professionals, and offices are in Surprise, AZ, which is about 25 miles west of Phoenix.
