Oakwood School is a K-12 coeducational day school in North Hollywood, California that opened its doors in 1951. POSITION SUMMARY Oakwood School seeks a part-time theatre teacher/director (grades 7-8) for the 2021-22 school year. The ideal candidate is comfortable teaching middle school theatre and will be expected to work with a diversity of learners from beginning to advanced students. The candidate should also have a strong background in directing, musical theatre and proficiency in diverse theatre styles and theatre pedagogy. The specific teaching assignment will consist of a middle school theatre class and directing the middle school musical in the Fall trimester.
