General Job Description:
As a member of the senior leadership team at St. Anne’s Episcopal School, the Director of Educational Program must possess a strong interest in planning and curriculum programming, along with exceptional written and oral communication skills. The Director must also be comfortable with and enthusiastic about working with students aged Preschool through 8th Grade. The Director must have the capacity to work with others in a high-functioning, collaborative and innovative educational setting; be collaborative, resilient, flexible, diplomatic, confident, patient, professional, technologically savvy and have a sense of humor. Â

The duties of the Director of Educational Program are assigned by the Head of School.Â
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership in the educational program, including oversight of the school’s accreditation process
Embrace the school’s mission as well as educational and discipline philosophies; candidates must be willing to work in a team environment and be positive, inspirational, and family-centered.Â
Exhibit high energy and enthusiasm for working in an academic atmosphere.
Have strong organizational and effective time-management skills.
In collaboration with the division heads, review and ensure curricular alignment from Primary School to Lower School and through Middle School
Oversee the Academic Success Program, working closely with the Academic Success Coordinator and Support Teachers.
Oversee the Related Arts Program, which provides enrichment and direct instruction to all students in subjects including Visual and Performing Arts, Health and Wellness, Spanish, and STEM.
Oversee the Extended Care Program which provides childcare for students before and after regular school hours. Working closely with the Extended Care Coordinator, ensure we provide a program that is aligned with the school’s daily program, providing extension and enrichment activities for students from 3:30pm – 6:00pm daily.
Oversee and St. Anne’s Summer Program, working closely with the Summer Program Director.
Oversee the scheduling process, in collaboration with the division heads

Teacher schedules
Duty schedules for before school, after school, and daily additional responsibilities for faculty and staff
Veracross scheduling
Recess schedules, including alternate schedules due to inclement weather
Collaborate with the Director of Technology to ensure educational technology plans are implemented effectively, which includes overseeing the work of the Technology Integration Specialist
Serve as the assessment and testing coordinator, which includes directing and overseeing standardized testing, including ERB and WrAP testing.
Meet w/parents who have concerns about their child’s standardized testing results.Â
Orchestrate the schedule, proctoring and extended time monitoring of all ERBs & WrAP Testing (w/some support from Renee). Â
Orchestrate the schedule, proctoring and extended time monitoring of all Midterm & Final Exams including make-up exams. Â
Manage the internal measures that we do in both math and writing in the 5th-8th grades at both the start and the end of the year. Manages the creation of these assessments as well as the collection and analysis. Meets w/teachers to discuss the results, take-aways and action items.
Collaborate with the Lower School Head and the Middle School Head to design a meaningful Student Summer Work program that ensures students are prepared for the next school year.Â
Oversee design, review and distribution of tri-semester report cards, in partnership with the division heads.
Assume responsibility for other projects as assigned by the Head of School.
Oversee a program to onboard and support new faculty members
In partnership with the Middle School Division Head, coordinate various middle school activities, including MS Clubs, Councils & Choir
School Trips: Responsible for ensuring that all school field trips run smoothly, meet budget and achieve goals. Cross check calendar to ensure no major/conflicting dates are occurring on requested day. Attend as an additional chaperone as needed.
Oversee the design and production of the Yearbook, which may be done in partnership with the Technology Integration Specialist.
Additional Responsibilities:
Additional duties that may be required include: advising, public speaking on behalf of the school, and travel to workshops and conferences. From time to time, work hours may extend to evening and/or weekend duties
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field
Classroom teaching experience
Project management skills in implementing programs, supervising personnel, and developing and handling a budget
Proven success working collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, parents, and community leadersÂ
Physical Requirements:Â
Regularly sit, turn, bend, reach, stand, walk, talk, hear, and interact with campus visitors as well as with others. Must have the ability to understand and present materials and communicate with constituents and co-workers in a harmonious manner. Must be able to lift 25lbs.
