The Theatre Department at Binghamton University seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Acting & Directing to begin in the Fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate will have significant experience teaching college-level acting and a professional background in acting and/or directing. Expertise in Black, Indigenous, Latinx, AAPI (Asian American/Pacific Islander), or MENA (Middle Eastern North African) theatre is desired. The preferred candidate’s pedagogical approach will be informed by professional practice andinfluenced by traditional and emerging trends in actor training.
