The Administrative Support Specialist position provides administrative support to the Director of the School of Music, with primary responsibilities in personnel administration, faculty records management, and office operations. Operating at the journey level, the role requires in-depth knowledge of university policies and procedures, independent judgment, and the ability to interpret and apply guidelines in non-standard situations. The Administrative Support Specialist manages confidential faculty files, supports HR transactions, and ensures the efficient functioning of the School’s administrative processes. It requires effective use of university systems for data entry and reconciliation, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with faculty
