The Mary Pappert School of Music invites applications for a part?time, non?tenure track position in saxophone, beginning August 2025. Primary responsibilitoes include teaching undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a variety of degrees; teaching the saxophone ensembles; and, actively engaging in recruitment and outreach activities.
Other important factors may include, but are not limited to a record of active community engagement and a record of successful artistic activities such as public performances, recitals, master classes, adjudications, and collaborative music?making.
A master?s degree in the candidate?s field is required from an accredited institution. A doctoral degree is preferred from an accredited institution.
Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the essential job functions.
