Regis College in Weston, MA is looking to hire two individuals to work as building supervisors in our Fine Arts Center from June 1st through August 8th. These individuals will need to be able to work with the Technical Director and Assistant Technical Director to provide technical support and supervision to clients in our theater spaces during evening and weekend hours. These positions will typically include 2-3 shifts during the workweek (4:00 pm - 11:30 pm), and a shift each day on the weekend (8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm - 12:00 pm).
Open and close the Fine Arts Center building as needed.
Setup/Shutdown theatrical equipment around client access.
Interface with clients in order to facilitate their use of the facility, including but not limited to reporting any breaches of the client’s contract agreement, and acting as a liaison between clients and the FAC staff to ensure client satisfaction.
Report issues to FAC TD or ATD , including but not limited to:
Fire code breaches
COVID-19 protocol issues
Knowledge of theatrical technology and procedures.
Ability to uphold the University’s commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
May spend extended periods at terminal, on telephone, or operating other office machines requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
Involves regular evening and weekend work.
