The Donor Engagement (DVMF) and Special Events Coordinator supports the Deer Valley® Music Festival (DVMF) VIP program and all special events such as galas, VIP packages for tours, and other projects.

DVMF Donor Engagement Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Director of DVMF Donor Relations and Special Events in managing and overseeing the DVMF VIP program, including handling package orders and ticketing; the VIP desk at Deer Valley® Resort; and all logistics pertaining to salon events and other special events for DVMF
• Provide stewardship and follow-up for DVMF patrons under the direction of supervisor
• Manage a small portfolio of DVMF donors and assist with research, cultivation, and stewardship opportunities
• Conduct targeted research to identify new prospects and to determine capacity of current donors
• Work in collaboration with Individual Giving team to execute strategy for DVMF grassroots efforts, including the Annual Giving Day, Live PC Give PC Day, and donor appreciation events
• Maintain Events and Staffing Calendars for DVMF
• Assist with supervision of DVMF Development interns

Special Event/Administrative Responsibilities:

• Under direction of supervisor, help plan and implement all special events including but not limited to creating guest lists, sending invitations, receiving RSVPs, generating registration lists, mailing tickets, and participating in event-set up and tear-down.

• Represent development staff and USUO at fundraising events, performances, networking opportunities, and other special events
• Serve as administrative support and a liaison to the USUO Board to encourage optimum engagement through special initiatives such as Board “thank you” phone calls and event attendance. Track all activity in Tessitura database
• Staff and represent USUO at concerts, programs and events, engaging with our donors serving as an ambassador for USUO
• Other duties as assigned
