The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration of all Great Waters' programs as well as executing the strategic plan of the organization. The Director reports to the Chair of the Board of Directors and manages the staff including paid employees, independent contractors, and many dedicated volunteers.
Primary duties include: Leadership, Operational Planning and Management, Finance and Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, Community Outreach, and Programming.
Three to five years in leadership position. Strong leadership skills in collaboration, consensus building, managing change and systems and processes. Strong multi-tasking organizational skills. Proven expertise in fundraising, finance, community engagement and marketing. Must live in the Lakes Region of NH year-round or April through September with the ability to travel during off-season months.
Telecommuting is allowed.
About Great Waters Music Festival
The Great Waters Music Festival (aka Great Waters) is a non-profit organization located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Its mission is to present outstanding musical performances during the summer months to those living in and visiting the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Performances are presented in a tent which seats 500 on the grounds of an historic nearby estate as well as at various smaller indoor venues.
