Middle and Upper School Band Teacher

Norfolk Collegiate is seeking applicants for a full time band teaching position for the academic year 2021-22. The teaching responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, a combination of five classes per day, which include an upper school band group, middle school band classes, and may include additional theatrical arts courses. The band teacher will also assist with middle and upper school musicals. We seek teachers who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching middle and upper school students. Candidates should have an established interest in working with students from a variety of backgrounds and a broad range of musical abilities and learning styles. The position requires collaborative work with faculty members and administrators. Norfolk Collegiate offers a supportive environment and a collegial atmosphere.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field is required.
