1. Conceptualize, develop and implement production policies that ensure high organizational and artistic standards for visual art exhibits and programming at the Center within safe working conditions.2. Oversight of loading, installation and de-installation of visual art exhibitions and associated events in a range of multi-purpose venues.3. Hire, advise, and/or supervise professional and student staff to install and de-install rotating exhibitions and to staff associated specials events, e.g. receptions. Advise students, faculty, and staff throughout the process in areas including, but not limited to, exhibition design, budgeting, and safety.4. Working with Director of Marketing and Communications and Associate Artistic Director, curate language, images and marketing materials for visual arts exhibits and programming that support the Schwarzman Center's artistic vision and mission.5. Develop partnerships and relationships to execute co-productions and collaborations with internal partners within the university, including:i. Yale College Artsii. Yale Hospitality, Yale Conferences and Eventsiii. Yale museums and galleriesiv. Yale Environmental Health and Safety, Risk Managementv. Faculty in Yale departments, programs, and professional schools6. Reviews work from artists selected for exhibitions to determine physical and environmental display needs.7. Oversight of the various artistic spaces to strategically and diplomatically negotiate and decide the competing demands for use of the venue spaces.8. Manage interface and serve as the Center's expert and primary user with EMS space management software.9. Develop policies and procedures for the management of artistic spaces within the Center.10. Ensure safety and smooth functioning of spaces at all times.11. Advise on art installation system purchases. Lead and oversee the planning of upgrades to exhibition spaces and meeting rooms.12. Manage students and vendors on site.13. Other duties as assigned.
