The Patron Services Manager is responsible for ensuring that the BCPA and Bloomington Arena’s ticket offices are customer service focused and that they provide a consistent, accurate, high-quality ticketing service to ticket buyers and user groups. The Manager plans and coordinates ticketing, deposits and all related financial reporting for 200 events annually for 30 plus separate organizations as well as in-house presentations. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining separate seating plans, scales, accounts and reports for each event series and organization. The manager oversees the subscription and single ticket campaigns, telemarketing campaigns, reports and reconciles revenue. The incumbent manages Ticket Office personnel, patron service and marketing functions of the BCPA ticket office including group sales, in compliance with all departmental and City policies.
The Patron Services Manager supervises, trains and schedules approximately 10 part-time/seasonal employees including 2 part-time Supervisors and is responsible for employee safety in the area under supervision. The Manager makes recommendations concerning hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations to the Artistic Manager. This position is expected to work evening and weekend hours in accordance with BCPA and Bloomington Arena performance schedules.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field plus two years of Ticket Master Softwareticketing experience in a multiple tenant, presenting ticket office utilizing computerized ticketing, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in ticketing operation(s) and/or creating ticket office procedures, policies and operating structures, as well as supervisory experience. Any equivalent combination of training and experience to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities will also be accepted.
