Job Overview We are looking for a program host who has a passion for classical music and can share that passion on a variety of platforms, including radio, podcasts, YouTube, as well as on other social media platforms. The host will be part of a team of amazing professionals discovering new and innovative ways to enrich peopleâs lives with classical music. Job Description The KUSC program host would host both daily live-to-air and pre-recorded weekend programs as well as fill-in for other hosts, and host station fund drives.  He/she would also share classical music stories on a variety of digital platforms, including podcasts, YouTube, and other social media platforms. He/she must have a passion for and a basic knowledge of classical music, and the facility to pronounce classical names and titles appropriately. The host must understand the different storytelling techniques for a variety of platforms. The host must be comfortable speaking in public and have a talent for presenting classical music to a broad audience. The person must have an engaging presentation style that can weave topical elements beyond classical music into a show effortlessly and be inviting to new and current listeners. Superior writing skills and experience are also required. He/she must be able to work well with others and be open to regular feedback and coaching. Finally, the host must champion the USC Radio Group vision of nurturing a love of classical music for all and support its culture and core values.
