Director of Catering & Events

The Director of Catering & Events is responsible for promoting the Club’s facilities for private banquets, business and social meetings, club-hosted events, and other member-related activities. He/she is responsible for providing all aspects of booking member functions including pre-planning meetings, BEO creation, marketing/communications, event execution (with banquet department), billing and follow-up.
**The Club’s current Catering & Events Director has been at the Club for four years and will be relocating at the end of 2021. The new candidate will spend the first six months rotating through all food and beverage departments, with a particular emphasis on banquet operations, to gain a thorough understanding of all Club areas. The candidate will transition to the Director position with full responsibilities toward the end of 2021. This position is available starting April 1, 2021.

Proficiency with Jonas Software and Social Tables (or similar event layout software) is preferred. Candidates must have exemplary customer service skills and a positive, upbeat, and friendly personality. Strong oral communication skills and professional demeanor and grace. Individual must possess strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task, work well as a team and be creative. Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S) or equivalent from four year college; or a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
