This is a nine-month, non-tenure earning position with a contract of two years. We are seeking a scholar who possesses experience in teaching introductory statistics courses to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. Beyond teaching, we are seeking a candidate with an interest and track record of conducting independent research in a manner similar to that of a tenure track faculty member. The work norms for this position will therefore be structured to afford engagement in research and publication. Scholars with research expertise in either measurement (e.g., IRT/DIF) or causal modeling are encouraged to apply. The Department of Educational Studies houses a flourishing educational research program that offers a PhD in Educational Research and both Qualitative and Quantitative Research Certificates for graduate students. The successful candidate will join an expert cadre of quantitative researchers with diverse expertise in statistics and measurement.
