Owensboro Community and Technical College invites applications to apply for a part-time Theater Arts faculty position in the Humanities and Fine Arts Department for courses in General Education course work and/or Applied courses such as, but not limited to: Acting I - III, Stage Production, and Stage Electrics.
This position is a temporary position used to fill classroom vacancies as needed. Day, evening, weekend and/or online positions may be available for the next semester. Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.
General Education Instructor Requirements: Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours within the teaching discipline is required. In order to be considered for an adjunct faculty position, you will need to upload transcripts of all college work. College teaching experience and utilization of online learning management systems preferred (Blackboard).
Applied Course Instructor Requirements: Two (2) years of relevant experience within theatre required; AFA-Theatre degree preferred; Experience using online learning management system recommended.
