A successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Sciences or graduate degree in Science Education, Physics, and/or a related scientific field. Prior experience teaching in an Upper School (Grades 9 – 12) setting is strongly preferred. Candidates should be enthusiastic about pedagogy – particularly inquiry-based, lab-centered, and application-driven approaches to science education. Successful candidates will also possess a positive attitude, excellent written and verbal skills, strong organizational skills, and demonstrated success in collaborative, collegial work environments. The candidate must possess or acquire and maintain a State of Ohio-issued teaching certificate.
