John Bapst, one of Maine's top independent high schools, seeks a vocal music teacher for the 2026-27 school year; this is a permanent position. The ideal candidate should have experience working with high school students and be comfortable teaching a variety of vocal styles and ranges. This person also should be capable of teaching music theory, with experience in teaching drama and/or piano a plus. The preferred candidate also will have experience and a willingness to support the school's theater program, particularly the spring musical production. The position requires someone willing to work collaboratively in a small department. This position may be combined with a houseparent position in the school's international boarding program, with housing and other benefits provided.
