Primary Description of Work Piano Accompaniment for classes, rehearsals, tutorials, and performances
Work Schedule and hours Variable, based on classes & rehearsals
Description of Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborative work as assigned, including tutorials within class times, run out performances, and auditions.
Accompanying and coaching students in Singing classes for the High School, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year undergraduates as assigned.
Rehearsal pianist for one musical each year.
Coordinate with piano tuner prior to the start of each semester, before demonstrations/performances, and as needed.
Maintain inventory and manage allocations of pianos, keyboards, and relevant accessories.
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree in collaborative piano preferred or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated evidence of higher education teaching and exemplary technical keyboard skills.
Fluency in sight-reading.
Knowledge of diverse repertoire; and a lively intellectual and musical curiosity.
Good organizational skills.
The ability to work effectively with School of Drama faculty, especially those in the Voice department.
Experience working in the musical theater industry.
Experience or affinity for working with undergraduate singers.
Continued active involvement in the broader music theater profession.

Recruitment Range, if applicable UNCSA offers a competitive compensation package with excellent benefits in the range of $44,000-$46,778
