As a member of Yale Schwarzman Center’s senior leadership team, the Deputy Director will bring demonstrable experience in managing people, teams and operations effectively. The Deputy Director will be involved in long-term planning and strategy and will be expected to collaborate closely and meaningfully with the Executive Director, Associate Artistic Director, Director of Marketing & Communications, and Director of Finance & Administration. The direct reports for this position include the Director of Production, Building Operations Manager, and Exhibitions and Bookings Manager. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Deputy Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Center, which include the management and oversight of HR & general administration, budget, production, facilities, and security. The Deputy Director works closely with the Executive Director to implement the Center’s strategic plan (February 2024) and meet the plan’s stated objectives, and with internal and external constituencies, including the Schwarzman Center’s Advisory Board and Program Committee.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 9 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
