A one-week intensive course in orchestral conducting led by Lawrence Golan in Granada, Spain; July 7-14, 2026. Participants will conduct a professional string orchestra both in rehearsal and concert. All participants conduct on one of the two public concerts, and conductor-cam video recordings of the performances will be made available to the conductors. There will also be daily seminars on topics such as score study, programming, rehearsal technique, career development, etc., held during group lunches. Participation includes free admission to all concerts and events associated with the Leonel Morales & Friends Music Festival.
All workshop events, except for the concerts, take place at the Hotel Alixares (https://leonelmoralesandfriends.com/en/accomodation/), which is located directly across the street from the entrance to the world-famous Alhambra.
