GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Director of Performing Arts and Sports is responsible for leading the administration of all programming and resource development for speech, debate, theatre, and music.  The position establishes relationships with national and state-level organizations within the performing arts industry and seeks partnership opportunities to develop and distribute advocacy resources for NFHS state associations and schools.  The Director of Performing Arts and Sports is the editor of multiple performing arts related publications, and serves as staff liaison for the NFHS Speech, Debate, Theatre, and Music professional associations. This position is also the rules editor for Spirit and serves as a member of the NFHS Rules Review Committee.&nb
