Adjunct Faculty - Clarinet
The Department of Music at Harper College invites applications for an adjunct position in applied instruction. Candidates should possess expertise in clarinet performance and pedagogy of varying genres. The faculty member selected will be expected to conduct and teach students in 100 and 200-level applied instruction lessons in clarinet on both the credit and community education side of the Music Department. Other responsibilities can include directing and/or developing ensembles that are academically beneficial and relevant to our community of students, and various departmental responsibilities including advising, outreach and recruitment. The pay rates are aligned with the terms outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
