Description: The Dance Program at the Lewis Center for the Arts, Princeton University, has occasional curricular need for part-time lecturers in all disciplines, and accepts applications in advance in the event the occasion arises where such lecturers are needed. These positions are subject to enrollments and will be for one semester, non-tenure track, and potentially renewable, with expected start dates of September 1, 2025, or January 16, 2026. The ideal candidates are active teachers, practitioners, and/or scholars who demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching and to inclusive pedagogy. Teaching areas include contemporary dance practices, multimedia dance formats, and dance history with a particular focus on non-Western dance traditions. Princeton is interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
