Adjunct Lecturer in Comedy
The University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts (SDA) invites applications for an adjunct lecturer position in Comedy to teach a new class entitled Comedy in Los Angeles starting January 1, 2022, with classes beginning January 10, 2022.  The goal of this brand-new course is to examine Los Angeles-based comedy as it continues to evolve, both through text and performance. The course will focus on the experience of the comedy audience and the role that comedy plays in the city’s culture, with a nod to the historical contribution of Los Angeles comedy to American comedy as a whole.Candidates should have ample experience working as an actor or comedian with substantial professional credentials and/or at least three to five years teaching e
