The distinguished music programs of Manhattan Beach Middle School and Mira Costa high School seek a highly qualified instrumental music educator to fill a full time music position for Instrumental Music (Band) Teacher- Middle School (60% FTE at Manhattan Beach Middle School) and High School (40% FTE at Mira Costa High School). The exceptional schools in the Manhattan Beach USD are high performing with a vibrant community and administrative support. The assignment includes teaching Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Cadet Band at Manhattan Beach Middle School, along with Marching Band/ PE Drumline/ Colorguard and Music Theory at Mira Costa High School.
Bachelor’s Degree; possession of a valid California Single Subject Teaching credential authorizing Music; CLAD/English Learner certification or equivalent is required.
