The Hill School is seeking a full time Music Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Primary duties will include preparing and executing lesson plans for elementary and middle school classes, preparing students for a variety of performances, and collaborating with other teachers. Faculty members also assess students’ progress and build strong relationships with parents. The music curriculum has traditionally featured a focus on vocal/choral music, as well as the study of rhythm and percussion instruments, stringed instruments, and explorations into music history. The music teacher will collaborate with other performing arts faculty to coordinate music and musical theater performances for students in grades JK-8 over the course of the year.

The Hill School is an independent co-educational day school founded in 1926 and currently celebrating its centennial year. It is located on a one hundred and seventy acre campus overlooking the historic town of Middleburg, Virginia approximately forty miles west of Washington DC.
