Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part-time, permanent hourly Classified Cashier 2 position. This position supports the Theatre Department. The work schedule for this position is two weekends each quarter for a total of 5 nights per quarter and 2.5 hours per night. This position is not eligible for benefits.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn ticketing software program
Greet customers
Print and Hand-Out "Will-Call" Tickets
Sell Tickets to guests who need them
Balance cash drawer each evening
Maintain light refreshment area
Submit money and balance sheets to the bookstore at the end of the play
Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:
Previous box office cashiering or equivalent related work experience.
Previous customer service work with the public in a forward-facing environment.
Ability to multi-task with potentially stressful timelines.
JOB READINESS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
The initial appointment will include a 6-month probationary period and the employee will earn permanent status after successfully completing probation.
