Adjunct Instructor The Science of Sound
Goals Teach SCI 270, The Science of SoundThe successful candidate will teach a science-based course in Spring 2025 with the following course outcomes:1) Understand the wave nature of sound; how sound is produced; and how sound interacts with the environment; 2) Master the basics of electronics, electricity, and magnetism and how comparative these energy waves are to sound waves; 3) Learn basic descriptive mathematics for all of the above; 4) Apply the above to instruments and techniques of sound production, reproduction, and amplification.The candidate must be well-versed in energy waves, most especially the behavior and calculation of sound waves.
