Part-time Lecturer for Undergraduate Course - Film, Race, and Representation
NYU's Los Angeles Program is seeking a local, part-time lecturer to design and teach an undergraduate course focused on the historical and critical understanding of the intersections between film, representation, and race for upper-level undergraduate students. The course will be under the sponsorship of NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study.The course will take place in the academic center in the Fairfax/La Brea area of Los Angeles. Teaching commences in Spring 2023 (January 24 through May 15).  The instructor role includes all preparation, delivery, and grading. Some administrative assistance is available to support the preparation of course materials. Courses are to be intellectually challenging in content and rigorous student assessment is required.
