English Teacher - Leave Coverage/Long Term Substitute
Walnut Hill School for the Arts seeks a long-term substitute to join the Humanities department to teach a total of 3 sections of 11th and 12th grade English for the first semester of the 2023-2024 School year starting in mid-August and ending when the semester ends in January, 2024.  This is a one-semester leave coverage position reporting to the Head of Humanities. Compensation for this position is $25,500 ($8,500 per section) for the semester. The Humanities program aims to teach skills and habits of attention, critical thinking, intellectual persistence, and reflection through careful reading and writing in the study of history and literature. In doing this, the department plays a central role in students' education as artists
