This position manages the Music Department performances, public events, lectures, rehearsals and classes in Hertz Hall, including both administrative and technical management. Oversees the use of equipment and the facilities. Hires, schedules and supervises part-time student staff. Serves as liaison for non-department users of the Hertz Hall facilities and equipment, ensuring compliance to the University and departmental policies and procedures.  Responsibilities  Management of Schedule:   In consultation with Chair, faculty, staff and all outside users (including Cal Performances and Student Musical Activities), manages the schedule for Hertz Hall.
