ASL/English Staff Interpreter
The primary role of the interpreter is to serve as a facilitator of communication for faculty and staff members who are deaf or hard of hearing, their hearing colleagues, peers, students and other personnel on campus. The interpreter provides interpreting and support services for faculty members for classes, meetings and other university events. This position also coordinates all interpreting/transliterating services for faculty and staff including but not limited to classes, meetings, events, theater rehearsals and performances and other campus activities.  Other duties that may be performed when they do not interfere with interpreting include, assistance with coordinating interpreting schedules and assisting with other interpreting requests on campus in conjunction with
