Adjunct Lecturer - Communication, Theatre, & Media Production

FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Communication, Theatre, & Media Production Department at Queensborough Community College invites applications for Adjunct Lecturers to teach courses in Communication. Position to start in Fall 2026. Performs teaching and related faculty functions in the area(s) of public speaking.

This position requires teaching in-person classes. Evening and weekend schedules may apply.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A master?s degree in Communication.

Two to three years of experience teaching introductory Communication courses.

Experience using educational technology, such as Brightspace.

COMPENSATION

Salary $112.50/hour
