APAP believes that pay transparency is a critical step toward pay equity and benefits both the job seeker and the employer. For those reasons, we are now requiring that employers include a salary range in all new job postings.
Postings that are backfilled from another association’s career center may not include salary information.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Intelligence department is seeking a mid-senior level Manager to join the team responsible for championing a data-driven, holistic approach to marketing client productions, with a focus on sales and ticketing. The Manager will oversee ticketing and sales strategy, audience insights, and integrated data analysis for clients including Broadway shows, Off-Broadway shows, and cultural institutions across New York City. A successful candidate for this position will be able to make data-driven recommendations across departments, effectively communicate those recommendations to internal teams and external clients, implement inventory management programming and optimizations, and accurately track effectiveness overtime.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ticketing & Sales Strategy:
Lead and support sales analysis for clients, making data-driven, strategic recommendations on revenue management, pricing models, programming and distribution against goals and projections.
Effectively use data to tell a story through clear, effective reporting and/or presentations, translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies. Create and distribute daily and weekly reporting as needed.
Liaise with industry ticketing and box-office partners to implement strategies and programming across multiple ticketing systems.
Create, submit, and revise ticket programming to support all aspects of inventory management (dynamic and variable pricing adjustments, performance scheduling, special promotions, distribution management, group sales, etc.) as needed.
Audience Insights:
Align sales data, audience data, and market research to identify and anticipate trends, including growth opportunities and audience development opportunities for clients.
Leverage proprietaryfirst-party behavioral data to inform new business strategies and audience segmentation for clients.
Create and manage post-trip surveys, other quantitative surveys, or qualitative research studies as needed.
Integrated Analysis:
Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to make integrated recommendations across sales, traditional media, digital media, marketing partnerships, social media, and more.
Create and implement a framework to integrate client metrics across agency teams, using data to influence decision making.
Contextualize sales performance using client data, agency data, and external data sources.
Agency Resource:
Assist in maintaining agency-wide and industry-wide databases as needed.
Cultivate a deep understanding of the Broadway and entertainment industries, seasonal variables, and the competitive landscape to be a resource for both clients and agency teams as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

This is a client-facing role: excellent communication skills (written, in-person, and presenting to large groups) are required.
