Mountain Air Country Club-Burnsville, NC
Mountain Air is a private gated community in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We are currently hiring two interns for the upcoming 2025 season. Our greens, tees, and fairways are a mix of bentgrass and poa with bluegrass and fescue roughs. Interns will gain experience in irrigation, chemical applications and calibration, small crew management, disease identification, and other aspects of golf course maintenance. Our internship program is designed to challenge and prepare students for a successful career in turf management.
Applicants are expected to have the drive, determination, and self-discipline to complete task in a timely manner with a focus on quality and accuracy. The work is fast paced and intense but also rewarding. We count on clear communication to ensure quality is never compromised and all tasks are completed consistently.
Educational Requirements
Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Turf management program.
Mountain Air is a private country club located in the mountains of western North Carolina. We have a strong management team dedicated to training the next generation of Golf Course Superintendents.
