Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance
The Department of Dance and Movement Studies at Hamilton College invites applications for a one-year position with the possibility of a one-year renewal at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2026. We seek candidates to teach technique and history/theory courses in one or more of the following genres: Jazz, Hip Hop, and Latin dance, as well as courses to support the Dance curriculum. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with broadly diverse student populations while contributing to a vibrant learning community that values academic freedom, creativity, and intellectual curiosity.
