The Madeira School is seeking a Director of Chamber Orchestra (part-time/50%) to join its faculty starting with the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will support and achieve the School’s mission and vision by effectively facilitating learning in student-centered college preparatory classrooms. Responsibilities: Conduct full orchestra rehearsals in a weekly evening class setting. Capable of instructing strings, woodwind, brass, percussion and piano students. Piano competency a plus. Embrace teaching beginning as well as advanced level students.
