Alabama State University invites applications for the position of Station Manager - WVAS. The successful candidate will direct, coordinate and supervise staff engaged in programming and operations activities at a full-time, professional radio station located at, and licensed to, historic Alabama State University in downtown Montgomery (AL).  The primary format of the station is jazz, but daily programming also includes blues and gospel as well as talk and sports offerings.  The Station Manager must be a leader with the vision, energy, and experience to build on the station's longtime commitment to the information and entertainment needs of its audience while expanding the station's engagement with the wider community.  This position reports to the University's Executive Director o
