The Wheaton College (MA) Department of Creative Arts invites applications for a Professor of the Practice of Music position beginning July 1, 2025. We seek an accomplished choral conductor and music director with additional expertise as an accompanist on piano. Experience working in musical theater at the college level is desired. Teaching responsibilities include three courses per semester, of which two will be directing the college’s chorale and chamber singers. Additional teaching duties will include directing musical theater productions on a biennial basis, coaching chamber ensembles, and/or offering sections of introductory music theory and ear training.Professors of the Practice are full-time teaching faculty who possess expertise and achievements in a field of
