Part-Time Lecturer in Scenic Fabrication
The Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at Tufts University is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach an introductory-level course in Scenic Fabrication in the fall semester 2025. The content of the course includes an introduction to and overview of tools, materials, techniques and methods of mounting a theatrical production. The emphasis is on scenery construction including basic carpentry, painting, and rigging techniques. The class meets Fridays from 9:00am to 12:00pm in the Tufts University Scene Shop; students are also required to complete supervised lab hours that are arranged on an individual basis.The Department of Theatre
