The Old Globe seeks an Associate Director, Philanthropy Operationsfor this renowned regional theatre located in San Diego’s beautiful Balboa Park.
The Associate Director, Philanthropy Operations oversees the process, administration, data, and financial reporting (income and expenses) of key components across the operations of the Philanthropy Team. They are a collaborator who identifies challenges, provides solutions, and implements changes (i.e., process improvements, reporting, etc.) to ensure seamless integration across the Philanthropy Team. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, this individual manages four staff members responsible for administrative processes, centralized data and reporting, tracking income and expenses, concierge ticketing and fulfillment of donor benefits, prospect research, and the annual fund and pipeline development.
Primary responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight of Philanthropy operations by driving integration strategies and plans, serving as the department’s Tessitura (the Globe’s ticketing, fundraising, marketing, and CRM system) and technology lead, and acting as an ambassador for the team and institution at Philanthropy events.
Salary range is $85,000-100,000. This is a full-time position with benefits including 401(k) after first year employment. Must be able to pass applicable background check. Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of in-depth experience with financial processes, procedures, fundraising/relationship databases and giving platforms. Knowledge of Tessitura system a plus. Familiarity with fundraising practices and deliverables and a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously with tightly prescribed timelines required. Preferred candidates will have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, experience working effectively with a cross-functional team to deliver on shared goals and successfully leading a team.

Recording of plenary sessions that is intended for broadcast or webcast requires prior arrangement and permission through APAP;
Advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours;
Advance scouting, without cameras, is required;
All camera crew personnel must wear press badges, and badges must be visible while on the exhibit floor;
All camera crews will be escorted by a representative of the Conference while on the exhibit floor;
A list of filming needs, indicating company name and booth number, must be approved by APAP in advance of any filming;
Permission must be granted by each exhibitor before any filming begins. Camera crews must provide release forms before filming;
If you ?need power, other than battery pack, advance arrangements are required and can be arranged by contacting Leah Frelinghuysen;
You will be responsible for any costs related to electrical needs;
Interviews for exhibitors in the EXPO Hall should be scheduled up to one week before the conference starts (January 10, 2020) and advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours
