The Lee University School of Music seeks a highly qualified conductor and string player for the position of Orchestra Director and Assistant Professor of Strings. The position is a full-time tenure-track faculty role beginning August 2025. The ideal candidate will have a record of success as an orchestral conductor and string player, with a passion for undergraduate education, and an aptitude for building and maintaining a strings program. In addition to developing and overseeing a strong orchestra and strings program, this individual will be expected to teach applied lessons in violin or some other string instrument.
