The Lee University School of Music is looking for a highly-skilled professor for its Music and Worship degree program. We invite applicants with a terminal degree in church music, or related degree, or commensurate experience. This is a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Lee’s B.M. in Music and Worship prepares students who are called to pursue music ministry as a vocational career, usually in the local church. Candidates should have the following: (1) a track record of effective work in music ministry, (2) passion for developing students’ skills and understanding of music and worship as a ministry, and (3) a strong appreciation and understanding of the Biblical, theological, historical, and pastoral role of music in the church.
