The Music Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a one-year position as a sabbatical replacement at the rank of Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2025. The teaching load for this position is five courses (either as a 2-3 or 3-2), including music theory, the history of Western art music (with an emphasis on the period from 1700-1950), an introductory listening course that encompasses a diverse range of musics and approaches, and electives open to both majors and non-majors.
