The Department of Music at Harper College invites applications for an adjunct position in applied instruction. Candidates should possess expertise in cello performance and pedagogy of varying genres. The faculty member selected will be expected to conduct and teach students in 100 and 200-level applied instruction lessons in cello on the credit side of the Music Department. Other responsibilities can include directing and/or developing ensembles that are academically beneficial and relevant to our community of students, and various departmental responsibilities including advising, outreach and recruitment.Starting Pay Rate: $45 per hour of private lesson instruction.
