About Us

Job Overview
The Department of Management of the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate faculty position in the area of strategy, intended to begin in Fall 2025. Rank is commensurate with credentials.
Essential Functions
Conduct research and publish in the candidate’s area of expertise in management and/or strategy;
Teach core and elective courses in areas related to their discipline such as business strategy, strategic management, or MBA capstone; and
Engage in service duties such as mentoring doctoral students and serving on departmental and college committees such as but not limited to the Doctoral Student Recruiting Committee and the Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure Committee.

Minimum Requirements
Prior to start date of this position, all of the following are required:
PhD (doctorate) in Strategy or Management or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited university.
Must have independently taught at least one course in Management or a related area at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Must demonstrate focused and productive research program with at least one publication (or a paper at an advanced revise-and-resubmit stage) and one other work in progress, each work concerning strategy-related topics.

Recording of plenary sessions that is intended for broadcast or webcast requires prior arrangement and permission through APAP;
Advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours;
Advance scouting, without cameras, is required;
All camera crew personnel must wear press badges, and badges must be visible while on the exhibit floor;
All camera crews will be escorted by a representative of the Conference while on the exhibit floor;
A list of filming needs, indicating company name and booth number, must be approved by APAP in advance of any filming;
Permission must be granted by each exhibitor before any filming begins. Camera crews must provide release forms before filming;
If you ?need power, other than battery pack, advance arrangements are required and can be arranged by contacting Leah Frelinghuysen;
You will be responsible for any costs related to electrical needs;
Interviews for exhibitors in the EXPO Hall should be scheduled up to one week before the conference starts (January 10, 2020) and advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours
