Schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM on days when needed Pay Rate: $20/hour
Responsibilities: The Substitute Teacher's responsibilities might include but are not limited to: Collaborating with other colleagues and educators in support of the children being covered Meeting and instructing assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated Maintaining a classroom environment conducive to effective learning Supervising lunch, rest, and/or recess Helping with set up, clean up, and some clerical work Taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilities Abiding by school regulations for health and safety during the 2023-2024 school year during the pandemic (ex: mask wearing, distancing) Substitutes specializing in Elementary Music, Physical Education, Art, Spanish, Library, and Movement are also needed. All teachers help build a collaborative, cooperative, and reflective approach to working as a classroom teaching team.
Qualifications: High School diploma required and Bachelor's degree preferred Experience managing a classroom and teaching children preferred Experience with progressive education preferred Willingness to collaborate and work as part of a team, as well as develop skills in working with individual children, small groups, and the whole class Please submit your cover letter and resume to apply for this opportunity. Recording of plenary sessions that is intended for broadcast or webcast requires prior arrangement and permission through APAP;
Advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours;
Advance scouting, without cameras, is required;
All camera crew personnel must wear press badges, and badges must be visible while on the exhibit floor;
All camera crews will be escorted by a representative of the Conference while on the exhibit floor;
A list of filming needs, indicating company name and booth number, must be approved by APAP in advance of any filming;
Permission must be granted by each exhibitor before any filming begins. Camera crews must provide release forms before filming;
If you ?need power, other than battery pack, advance arrangements are required and can be arranged by contacting Leah Frelinghuysen;
You will be responsible for any costs related to electrical needs;
Interviews for exhibitors in the EXPO Hall should be scheduled up to one week before the conference starts (January 10, 2020) and advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours
